The First Day of School is Wednesday, September 3, 2008
K-2 SCHOOL SUPPLY Lists for 2008-2009
(the list of the supplies your child needs for the coming year)
EMERGENCY & OTHER
FORMS were
mailed to student's mailing address.
Students must return forms to their teachers the
first 2 days of school.
Attendance on the First Day of School
All students are expected to report to school on the first
day of school. Students who are not in school the first 3
days of school will not be guaranteed a seat at the school
and may have to be overloaded to other schools upon return.
The ONLY exceptions will be students who are absent due to
illness. If a student is absent the first 3 days due to
illness, parents or guardians must notify the school every
day the student is absent.
Seats will NOT be held for students
on extended vacations or other optional activities,
whether or not the school is notified.

VOLUNTEERING & SUPPORTING
LEITCH |
- The school office needs helping hands
to do some light office work such as put up poster boards,
separate books, etc. to prepare for this school year. If
you know any parents with teens who need to earn volunteer
hours or someone who has time to help on Friday, 8/29,
between 9 AM-4 PM, please call the school at 657-6100
so the office knows someone is coming to help.

- General School Info
- During
the regular school year...
- Morning Valet Volunteers always welcome! Just
drop in and start helping. This program helps
keep students safe as they are leaving their vehicles
in the morning. Help for as long as your time
permits between 8:15 - 8:45 AM. No experience
necessary. Thanks to those who have been helping!
- DRAGON’S
LAIR CAFE OPEN Fridays,
8-9 AM (except
during rain) in the Multipurpose Room
and outdoor blue booth for hot beverages & edible
goodies. All
proceeds benefit technology for our school.
- PARKING LOTS between
the school and the valet lane is FOR STAFF ONLY. Please DO
NOT drop
off your children in that parking lot. Please use
the valet program or park in the street.
- Leitch Discretionary Block Grants are posted for the benefit of the Leitch community and to meet district policies:
