The Leitch Loves Learning Parent Pledge

“Parents and family are a child’s first and most important teachers. I realize that my child’s school years are very important and I understand that my participation in my child’s education will help his or her achievement and attitude. Therefore, I agree to carry out the following responsibilities to the best of my ability:

I will:

Provide my child with a quiet place to study
Encourage my child to complete his/her homework and assist as needed
Make sure my child gets adequate rest
See to it that my child arrives at school on time every day
Encourage reading within the home
Make an effort to attend Back-to-School Night, Parent-Teacher Conferences, Open House and other school events.
Review and return school communications promptly including the Leitch Folder on Fridays
Encourage my child to have a positive attitude.”
