Reach for the Stars - Join PTO, our Parent Teacher Organization! Your membership and involvement in PTO are two of the best and surest ways you can help make Warm Springs and James Leitch great schools. Besides donations given directly to teachers for their classrooms, playground equipment, FAME, Music for Minors and Choir at Warm Springs are some of the programs supported by PTO funds. Our membership goal is 100%. We also have a classroom competition to see how many achieve 100% participation. Those classes who do will receive an ice cream party, courtesy of the PTO so please join PTO today!

The PTO is about parents working with teachers to provide a quality education for your children. By becoming a member and actively participating at PTO events, you will become better informed about our schools and positively contribute to your child’s learning environment. Adult members of the PTO have voting rights to help direct where funds will make the most difference for the schools. Working together, parents and teachers can make a huge difference.

The monies raised in prior years were given to a variety of school programs. Donations were given directly back to teachers for their classrooms, to a playground equipment fund, and to the Computer Club and Choir at Warm Springs. With our support each year, our parents are able to present to our students the Fine Arts Mini Experience (FAME) program and the Music for Minors program. Our PTO also runs the Head Room Parent program, organizes the hospitality program, purchases and organizes earthquake supplies and supports the libraries and other school activities. Best of all, as a PTO, all the money raised will go directly back to the schools for programs and services that are in the best interest of the children.
