Library Hours

Parent/Guardian Visiting Hours: BEFORE / AFTER school

Monday

11:15 AM - 3:05 PM

Tuesday

 8:15 AM - 3:05 PM

Wednesday

 8:15 AM - NOON

Thursday

 8:15 AM - 3:05 PM

Friday

 8:15 AM - 3:05 PM

General Library Guidelines

• Students may check out 2 books at a time with the exception of Kindergarten students who can only check out 1 book at a time.
   
• Books that are checked out during a student’s classroom library day are due back the day before their library day so that we can determine who has overdue books.
   
• Parent’s may check out 5 books at a time before or after school hours only
  (8 AM - 8:30 AM and 2:45 PM - 3 PM).
• We ask that parents do not check out books during regular school hours since many classrooms have library visits during the school hours.
   
• Items are loaned out for a one week period. Please help your child remember when their books are due otherwise, they will not be able to check out anymore books until the overdue books are returned.  Bills are processed for any books overdue for a month.  The price for book replacements are set by the school district.

Book Fairs

Book Fairs are usually held in November and April. The money raised is used to buy books and materials for the library.  The library committee determines the book selections. We greatly appreciate any books donated to the library, but please remember that they should be appropriate for the kindergarten through 2nd grade student.

Volunteers Welcome!

• We are always in need of volunteers to help shelve the hundreds of books returned every week.
   
• If you wish to come into the library with your child’s class, the children always appreciate help in finding books they want.  Additional help is needed in repairing books and covering paperbacks.
